Almenn lýsing
- 370 spjöld sem skiptast nokkuð jafnt milli sagnorðaflokkanna þriggja.
- Framan á spjöldunum eru: mynd, sögn og litadoppa. Litur þeirra er í samræmi við litina sem eru notaðir á sagnorðatöflu Íslenskunámunnar.
- Aftan á spjöldunum er upplýsingar um:
- sagnorðaflokk; þ.e. hvort sögnin er a-, i- eða 0-sögn.
- reglunúmer; þ.e. hverjum af beygingarflokkunum sex (1-6) sögnin tilheyrir.
- hvaða falli sögnin stýrir og algengustu forsetningarsambönd viðkomandi sagnar.
- beygingartafla sem sýnir beygingarendingar viðkomandi sagnar í nútíð.
- kennimyndir sagnarinnar. Vakin er athygli á því að 1.p. í nútíð er höfð með innan sviga.
- hljóðbreytingar og hljóðskipti þar sem það á við
- Stuttur skýringabæklingur á íslensku og ensku fylgir með. Í honum eru skýringar á litadoppunum og táknum. Megináherslan er á að skýra framsetninguna á málfræðinni sem kemur fram á bakhlið sagnorðaspjaldanna

Attention is drawn to the fact that the Verb Box is an updated relaunch of the verb section found in the flashcard box, Noun and Verb Cards.

General Description
- 370 cards divided fairly evenly among the three verb categories.
- On the front of the cards are: an image, the verb, and a coloured dot. The colours correspond to those used in the verb table by the Icelandic Study Mine.
- Back of each card includes information about:
- the verb category; that is whether the verb is an a-, i-, or 0-verb.
- the verb rule number; that is which of the six conjugation groups the verb belongs to.
- which case the verb governs, and the most common prepositions they go with in phrases.
- a conjugation table showing the verb’s present-tense endings.
- the principal parts. Note that the 1st person singular in the present tense is included in parentheses.
- the vowel shifts, where applicable
- A short explanatory booklet in Icelandic and English is included. It explains the colored dots and symbols. The main focus is to clarify the grammatical information presented on the back of the verb cards.
