The price for a single lesson for one person is 13.000,-ISK. Each lesson counts as one hour = 50 minutes of instruction + 10 minutes for reviewing homework and preparing for the next lesson.
A discount is granted if 10 lessons or more are purchased at the same time. The price is based on 1-on-1 teaching that take place at the teacher’s home. Note that a trial lessons counts as a single lesson. If a 10-hour package is subsequently purchased, the cost is deducted from the total price (Example: 100,000 – 13,000 = 87,000)

☛ You attend the first lesson without commitments. By the end of that lesson, you have hopefully figured out if you have found the right tutor for you. Then you can decide to either pay for one lesson, or to pay in advance for 10 lessons or more (see options under price).
☛ Lessons cancelled with less than a 24 hours notice are charged. Given more notice, lessons are rescheduled free of charge.
☛ However, if cancellations exceed three times, the student can ⓐ pay extra to get 10 hours in a longer period than originally paid for ⓑ or the hours that exceed the period are cancelled (see costs for different periods under price).
☛ Changes to the teaching platform must also be requested with least 24 hours notice.
☛ If a situation arises where students are unable to complete the lessons within the time frame they paid for, they can ⓐ request a refund for the remaining lessons ⓑ or negotiate to complete the lessons within the next 12 months.
☛ If a student doesn’t comply with invitations to complete the remaining lessons within the next 12 months, they will be cancelled.
